Gemologist, jewelry consultant and Prestige Global Gems founder Aaron Brown grew up learning the jewelry trade from his father. He later augmented this invaluable training with a Graduate Gemologist diploma from the Gemological Institute of America, and formal valuation education from the Appraisers International Society. Aaron has a deep knowledge of the jewelry trade, from mining to cutting, to jewelry manufacture and retail, having worked for more than 15 years in the fast paced global jewelry center of New York City, along with various online outlets, in addition to significant time immersed in the Thai, Australian and New Zealand gem and jewelry markets and the international trade show circuit.
